Senior Management Accountant

A global growing Media agency is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to report Group Financial Controller and be responsible for supporting the current team that serve regions around the world.

This company is a new breed of data driven digital services partner who are recognised for their capabilities through several award nominations and wins. This is an excellent opportunity to get exposure to month-end and work towards becoming a qualified Accountant .

The role involves working closely with all aspects of the business from Product, Marketing, Engineering to the regional commercial hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management accounts 60% US & 40% UK - Working with the team each month to complete management accounts to the required deadlines, account and GL reconciliation for Prepayments, Accruals and Fixed Assets.
• Cash flow - Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts/including payment runs.
• Bank/Account Reconciliation - Ensuring Daily/Weekly/Monthly reconciliations are being completed on time and accurately. Monthly detail reports for balance sheet accounts.
• Skovik - Reviewing expense claims and ensuring expense policy has been adhered to.
• Audit - Working alongside the Group Financial Controller to provide audit supporting evidence.
• Integration project with acquirers.
• Supporting internal and external stakeholders
• TAX -Sales Taxes globally being checked and corrected for reconciliation and ready for review and submission on a monthly/Qtrly/yearly basis in time for regional deadlines.
• Projects - Helping the finance department with Ad-hoc projects and research when needed.

About you

• Finalist/Newly Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• You MUST of has at least 3-4 years finance experience working in a similar environment
• A team player & someone who actively contributes to the success of the overall team in order to complete tasks, meet goals or manage projects.
• A strong communicator - someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions, who actively listens to what’s being said and can express their views and needs succinctly and with credibility.
• A competent navigator of IT & Software systems - always being curious how to optimise its functionality for better results.
• Someone who can produce work accurately while maintaining a speed to their work that ensures they are delivering on timescales and commercial demands.
• Someone not afraid to challenge the work and accuracy of reports produced.
