Senior Legal PA

A top UK Law firm is looking to hire a new Senior Legal PA on a permanent basis, to support their busy Private Client team with all secretarial and administration duties. 

  • Salary to £46,500
  • Generous Hybrid Working (2 days in office 3 remote)

The Senior Legal PA will assist the Practice Area Manager who is a Partner and a Knowledge Lawyer. The Senior Legal PA will heavily assist in organisational support for both these Lawyers and the wider practice.

Responsibilities of the Senior Legal PA will include:

  • Effective and proactive diary management.
  • Awareness of Fee Earners' workloads to plan ahead with minimal supervision.
  • Processing relevant applications, forms or searches.
  • Researching new clients / contacts and prepares bios before meetings and conducting basic research.
  • Arranging travel and any other activities on behalf of Fee Earners, creating typed work of a high quality, formatting in accordance with house style.
  • Preparing bills (including bill narratives).
  • Preparing AML documentation and obtaining relevant documentation / carrying out conflict searches and correctly identifying the work type.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge and a strong understanding of Fee Earners’ matters.
  • This position will also be supporting a Knowledge Lawyer.

Required experience of the Senior Legal PA:

  • Previous secretarial experience within a law firm with, ideally with experience in a Private Client team. 
  • Excellent written, communication and organisational skills & attention to detail skills.
  • Knowledge of InterAction.
  • Experience using Structure Flow and PowerPoint or similar.
  • Familiarity with producing flowcharts, family trees and diagrams.
  • Document production skills are highly desirable.
