Senior IT Support Engineer - Northampton - MSP - £35K (DOE)

A Senior IT Support Engineer with strong working knowledge Windows Server OS, O365, and good understanding of networking protocols is required by leading MSP in Northampton.

Skills:

• Proficient in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, and Office 365 for deployment and administration purposes.
• Possesses extensive familiarity with Windows Desktop & Server operating systems.
• Knowledgeable about networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experienced in utilising backup and disaster recovery technologies.
• Skilled in navigating both diverse on-premises and cloud environments.
• Understanding of ITIL requirements.
• Previous experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) settings is desirable, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer timely and efficient 1st and 2nd line support to clients, addressing issues spanning various IT systems and technologies.
• Assist in the implementation of hardware and software rollout projects, which may require occasional travel and overnight stays.
• Ensure the seamless operation of IT systems by providing technical engineering support and maintenance services.
• Contribute to the development of disaster recovery solutions and backup strategies to uphold the security and integrity of client data.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver top-notch service and support, while adhering to ITIL operational standards.
• Provide guidance and assistance to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
