Role: Senior IT Engineer

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: Up to £30k

My client are currently looking for a Senior IT Technician to lead the reigns on the infrastructure and networking requirements in the company.

If you're well experienced supporting and managing hardware, remote and hands on support as well as driving high standards of IT Support, then this is the role with you.

Required:

* Demonstrated track record in a Senior IT support capacity.
* Over 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud computing, and related services.
* Verified proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
* Proficiency in utilizing ITSM tools such as Freshservice or equivalents.
* Proficiency with databases including Microsoft SQL and Postgres, as well as experience with SSRS.
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
* Established expertise in networking encompassing LAN, VLANs, WAN, Wi-Fi, and MPLS.
* Experience with cloud-based solutions including Microsoft Azure, Azure Site Recovery, and restoration processes.
* Microsoft Technical Associate certification in Windows Server or Networking, or comparable qualifications.

Preferred:

* Microsoft MCSA or MCSE certification.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Experience in the financial sector or Building Society Services.
