I am working with an innovative business in Colchester who, having enjoyed a period of sustained growth, are hiring for a Senior IT Manager to join their team and help them to grow, and improve, their service to clients

In your new role you will join their leadership team and take the lead on designing and delivering their internal IT strategy, as well as liaising with their clients to ensure technical questions are answered and IT security needs are met.

You will also take a hands on approach to managing their internal infrastructure (including cloud, networks and servers), work closely with 3rd party suppliers to optimise / improve the IT service and investigate ways in which data can be used to add value.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience of taking a lead role, and acting as a technical authority, for IT infrastructure
  • Hands on IT skills, in particular knowledge of Cloud, Networks and Servers
  • Proven ability to optimise and improve IT services
  • The ability to understand business needs and deliver IT architecture that meets commercial objectives
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Full driving license
  • Although not essential, it would be of benefit if you have knowledge of data reporting technologies and their commercial application.
