Our client, a global blue chip company, is looking for Senior IT Business Development Manager.


[Purpose of the Job]

(1) The Role in the Management MSP(Managed Service Provider) team will need to be able to sell projects via IT consulting capability and also hit the ground running and pick up in-flight projects, as well as work on projects from initiation through to completion.

(2) You will have responsibility to manage group of 10 or more people who are consist of business development, project management and technical specialists personnel to fulfil the department objectives including financial goals.

(3) You and your group will be providing consulting and coordinating new IT solutions to resolve issues and pain points faced by clients across Europe.

(4) You must also possess adequate experience in structuring and negotiating complex deals with strategic partners and managing the relationships on-going.

(5) You will not only have the opportunity to lead on client site within this businesses flagship projects, but also play a key role in the development of this practice through using your professional network and by skilfully developing a sales pipeline

(6) Successfully lead group in project and programme development and deliver on significant projects, working with directors and partners.

(7) Play an essential role in business development and lead the business in terms of sales and new client generation

(8) Build category strategy for both the business and client bases and ensuring that client objectives are executed

(9) Be able to identify potential issues and undertake opportunity assessment for improvement

[Key Accountabilities]
(1) Ownership of group performance, objective and goals.

(2) Responsible for managing projects allocation to the responsible persons with the group from planning through to delivery

(3) Identify key project stakeholders and build effective relationships with internal and external customers

(4) Prepare project plans and business requirement documentation

(5) Complete understanding and control of projects, their current status, their requirements and deadlines

(6) Track and resolves risks, issues, and action items throughout project lifecycle

(7) Prepare presentation material and present to senior managers as and when required

(8) Identification and development of new business opportunities in the client base

(9) Involvement in meetings and workshops from initiation to delivery.

(10) Produce reports for internal use (weekly, monthly basis)

(11) Provide strategic account management for helping customers to achieve their objectives via our IT projects proposing.

[Requirements]
(1) Must have minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in IT consulting & solution proposal

(2) Demonstrated ability to build, grow and manage relationships with multiple clients and strategic partners, with a consistent focus on revenue growth and concrete business results

(3) Experience working in professional service environments is required, with management consulting highly preferred (and related skills of problem solving and stakeholder engagement are required)

(4) Strong experience in working within a large organisation, multiple stakeholders, and big agencies.

(5) Proven leadership to manage a group of members from various background, culture and skillset.

(6) Full project lifecycle experience in digital strategy deployment and use of, e.g., Web-based solutions, agile development, application development, or digital architecture

(7) A proven negotiator and influencer at all levels with ability to drive decision-making across multiple functions and organizational areas

(8) Strong analytical foundation, must be able to think through complex deal structures with multiple variables and able to pick up new ideas and subject matter quickly

(9) Strong project IT management skills with ability to organize project work effectively, reprioritize as new demands/changes arise and to juggle a number of major projects

(10) Experienced in requirements gathering and proposal write-ups


[Conditions]
(1) Job location: Weybridge, Surrey (on-site car park & free shuttle from/to Weybridge rail station)

(2) Hybrid working: 3~4 days in the office & 1~2 days work from home

(3) Job type: full-time & 12 month contract (subject to be extended)

(4) Hours of work: 37.5 hour per week (some overtime work may be required for emergencies and projects)

(5) Annual basic salary: up to 110K (depending on experience)

(6) Performance based bonus, pension, life assurance, private medical insurance, etc.

(7) Annual leave: 33 (25 holidays + 8 bank holidays)
