Senior Intruder Alarm Service & Installation Engineer

We have an exciting new role for a Senior Intruder Alarm Service & Installation Engineer to join a highly reputable and long-standing Security Installation Systems company in Halifax, West Yorkshire covering Calderdale and the surrounding areas

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out a variety of tasks such as: Installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning (if able) on Fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm systems.
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site.
• Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team.
• Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to.
• Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to  junior members of the team.
• Take part in the call-out rota.

Requirements:

• You must have a minimum of five years experience working in a similar role within the Fire and Security Industry.
• Knowledge of Servicing and Remedial of the Fire and Security Industry is essential.
• Experienced in a range of disciplines (Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, & Intruder Alarms). Previous experience within all of these areas is preferred although not essential.
• Passion for the trade and a problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
• IPAF would also be beneficial.
• A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must.
• Drive and enthusiasm for the role.
