Established in 1993, Croxley Alarm Systems offers a wide range of security installations including CCTV and alarm systems. They take pride in their work and are an NSI (Nacos) Gold Approved company. From design and installation to maintenance and repairs they offer customers a fully comprehensive service, ensuring their clients’ property is safeguarded with bespoke, high-quality systems.

Due to continued expansion, they now require an Intruder Alarm and CCTV Service Engineer to join their professional team.

This is mainly a field-based position - successful applicants will need to have a full, clean UK driving license and live within a 20-mile radius of Watford to ensure easy access to their customer base.

The Role:

In your role as Intruder Alarm and CCTV Service Engineer, you will be a crucial member of the team. If you are bringing experience to the role, you will be able to share your experiences with a team of six dedicated and skilled engineers. On the flip side, if you are looking for a change of career and have worked in a similar role, we will take you on as a trainee and give you the platform to grow and be a success with us long term.

Duties:

• Installation of CCTV and Intruder Alarms
• Maintenance, servicing & fault-finding on CCTV and Intruder Alarms
• Conduct quality audits, ensuring projects meet the required NSI standard
• Covering Watford and surrounding areas

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week, between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday
• Inclusion in a call-out rota approximately 1 in 7 weeks

Croxley Alarm Systems need someone who:

• Is comfortable working both on their own and as part of a supportive team
• Has excellent communication skills and can provide reliable, quality support to customers
• Can assist customers and colleagues with technical issues both on the phone and face to face
• Will take responsibility for the overall quality of the work performed on-site
• Will ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to all H&S and professional guidelines and regulations
• If you don’t have direct experience in alarm systems, you will be passionate and have a strong desire to learn
