Senior Inspection Engineer

We are currently working with an organisation in Gillingham who are looking to hire a Senior Inspection Engineer who has previous experience in the field of dimensional metrology or precision engineering.
The successful appointee will be working in state-of-the-art facilities and will have access to a range of employee benefits including 27 days holiday PLUS bank holidays, pension, dental plan, onsite parking and gym.
This is a full time permanent position, with a desirable salary.
Responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
- Conduct dimensional and surface inspections
- Produce detailed inspection reports
- Further develop and validate measurement processes and procedures
- Ensure EH&S and QMS conformance
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement
- Maintenance and calibration of equipment
Skills & Experience Required (non-exhaustive):
- Experience using contact and optical 3D metrology equipment
- Experience using manual and digital microscopes
- Knowledge of dimensional metrology
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
- Ability to interpret GD&T specifications
