Senior Inspection Engineer

We are currently working with an organisation in Gillingham who are looking to hire a Senior Inspection Engineer who has previous experience in the field of dimensional metrology or precision engineering.

The successful appointee will be working in state-of-the-art facilities and will have access to a range of employee benefits including 27 days holiday PLUS bank holidays, pension, dental plan, onsite parking and gym.

This is a full time permanent position, with a desirable salary.

Responsibilities (non-exhaustive):

• Conduct dimensional and surface inspections
• Produce detailed inspection reports
• Further develop and validate measurement processes and procedures
• Ensure EH&S and QMS conformance
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement
• Maintenance and calibration of equipment

Skills & Experience Required (non-exhaustive):

• Experience using contact and optical 3D metrology equipment
• Experience using manual and digital microscopes
• Knowledge of dimensional metrology
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• Ability to interpret GD&T specifications
