Denholm is delighted to be working with one of our key Edinburgh based Retail partners to help recruit a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role can be hybrid with a presence required on site in Edinburgh.

This person will be key in ensuring the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructures across the business. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.

The Ideal candidate is someone with a good all knowledge of infrastructure, particularly server knowledge. The client are a Microsoft house, looking to implement intune, so experience with this or SCCM would be advantageous.

  • Support and Administer Microsoft 365 services including Azure, Azure AD, Office
  • Installation, configuration, and management of Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems. (Active Directory and Group Policy)
  • Project deployment
  • Security practices and solutions knowledge
  • Endpoint management (SCCM or Microsoft Intune)
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge
  • Cloud-based systems knowledge
  • Networking knowledge
  • Test, evaluate and maintenance security products and policies
  • Knowledge of SD Wan
  • Strong technical background
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non technical staff
  • Experience of major incidents
  • Proactive and Project Focussed, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
