Our leading international law firm client has an extremely exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join their London office on a temporary basis until around the end of August.

Key duties will include:

  • Proactively develop strong, value-add, and trusted advisor relationships with all members of client groups.
  • Regularly meet with Office Managing Partners and director level clients to develop strategic plans
  • Assess needs of client groups and collaborate with global Talent Development team to create solutions
  • Collaborate with managers and employees in developing business goals and objectives.
  • In conjunction with the global Talent Development team, facilitate the development of the approach, strategy and tactical plan for engaging managers and staff in skill and career development.
  • Create and customise tools to promote recruitment and retention of top performers, leadership development, coaching; talent review, and succession planning.
  • Integrate core processes and talent strategies into the business fabric of client groups.
  • Manage client base in firmwide HR system.
  • Collaborate with other firm HRBPs and HR functional leaders to execute on HR strategy, share information and best practices and ensure overall HR consistency across offices and functional departments.
  • Collaborate with the Firm's Leave Administrator and local HR and finance teams to ensure that all leaves of absence are managed properly including reporting for bonuses, unpaid, etc.
  • Manage and delegate, as appropriate, recruiting processes for assigned business services client groups
  • Manage UK inbound immigration processes for the London office, providing guidance to employees and liaising with legal counsel to ensure compliance with UK immigration laws
  • Additional HR projects as and when required

Job Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a law firm
  • Credible
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work well in a team and contribute fully to its success
  • A meticulous approach (detail orientated) with a commercial and pragmatic outlook
  • An aptitude for working in a fast-moving business environment, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter
  • An outgoing and friendly manner
