Senior HR Business Partner is required for a world leading news and media brand based in London. This is a very rare and exciting job opportunity for an HR Business Partner who has a background and passion for news and media and wants to be part of a world changing organisation and brand.

As Senior HR Business Partner you will be based in the London office 3-4 days a week with 1-2 days hybrid working at home. In reward you will be paid a salary of c. £90,000 p.a. plus bonus and some excellent benefits.

The Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic partner to the brand, responsible for aligning HR initiatives and functions with business objectives. As HRBP you will work closely with business leaders to provide expertise, guidance and support in all aspects of HR.

The successful Senior HR Business Partner will have:

  • Extensive experience of HR and HR best practice.
  • Background in news, media or digital media.
  • HR qualification, ideally HR related degree.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • High degree of energy, drive and self-confidence.

This is a high-profile HR role and some of your duties will include:

  • Develop a strong partnering relationship with senior managers and to diagnose, develop and implement effective HR strategies.
  • Work with senior leaders to identify and plan the learning and development of their teams.
  • Lead, advise and guide the scoping and implementation of any organisational restructures.
  • Support and develop business leaders in the identification of talent.
  • Oversee, coach and support managers with performance management and provide guidance and oversight on complex employee relations.
  • Advise, guide and support employees on all HR disciplines and policies to ensure HR practices are implemented in a consistent manner.
  • Devise and implement recruitment strategies for senior roles within the business unit.
  • Keep abreast of current legislation and trends in order to develop practical and appropriate polices and procedures.
  • Support and deliver projects as specified both within business units or group wide.
