Senior HR Business Partner, 6 month FTC - Animal Welfare Charity - London with hybrid working - c£60,000

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join one of the UK's leading animal welfare charities.

Reporting into the Head of HR you will be responsible for leading a team of HR Business Partners supporting specific directorates. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, supporting the formulation and delivery of business plans and aligning People activity
  • Influencing the development of the People strategy, plans, and policies
  • Leading a team of HR Business Partner to support change including organisational design and restructuring
  • Overseeing complex employee relations cases
  • Designing and delivering activities to improve engagement and employee experience
  • Advising senior leaders on performance management and team development including talent and succession planning
  • Working closely with the broader HR team including the Reward and Recruitment teams
  • Representing the HR team on cross functional working groups


You should be an experienced HR Business Partner with a track record of identifying key people issues and designing and delivering appropriate solutions. A strong knowledge of employment law needs to be combined with experience of coaching managers and managing organisational change. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills are essential.
