Your new role:

As a Senior Housing and Litigation Lawyer, you will conduct all aspects of legal work relevant to housing and litigation matters, including rent arrears, ASB, disrepair, homelessness, injunctions, leasehold service charges, leasehold covenants, debt recovery, and insolvency. The initial duration of the assignment is 6 months, with a very high likelihood of the contract being extended and renewed on a rolling basis.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified as a lawyer
  • 4+ years working experience in housing law, including matters stated above (open to either civil or criminal housing backgrounds, as well as a mix of the two)
  • Previous local authority housing experience (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of English law, local government law, equalities law, and data protection (desirable)
  • Able to meet Lexcel requirements in file management


A DBS check, political restriction, and the right to work in the UK are needed for this role.
