Senior Healthcare Assistant, Winslow

Community Services, Nottinghamshire

Salary: From £24,360 plus enhancements

Hours: 37.5 – Full time

Winslow was developed to provide enhanced care for individuals with complex presentations and behaviours that may challenge, who are transitioning away from secure hospital care to a community setting. It comprises six self-contained residential apartments offering independent living within a community-based environment. With an emphasis on sustainable living and vocational skills development, our aim is to enable each service user to transition to successful community living.

Your role

As a senior Health Care Assistant, you will provide support that positively impacts the health and wellbeing of service users within the Division. You will be a highly visible and important front line member of staff within an established team of professionals including: Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists*, Psychologists*, Responsible Clinician* and Social Workers*. Throughout the service user’s journey, you will provide a high standard of care, working in line with the individuals treatment programme.

*community professionals not on site

In addition to this you will support and mentor other HCA’s and be aligned to additional areas of practice as champions or representatives. You will play a key role in designated areas to support and improve practice on the wards.
