Role: Senior Functional Consultant

Location: Winchester

Hours per week: 37 (Part-time options available)

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead in the liaison with business stakeholders, providing expert functional consultancy to recommend SAP solutions via written papers, meetings and presentations
• Lead teams in the planning and delivery of new solutions and enhancements owning the overall technical workstream delivery for one or more projects
• Mentor and line manage of other team members and trainees
• Active participation in all aspects of the SAP delivery lifecycle
• Resolve break fixes, service and support issues for SAP applications and related third party packages

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience of designing and delivering SAP solutions to complex business requirements
• Extensive configuration experience covering main FI/CO/AP/AR modules
• Experience of integrating other systems with SAP and supporting the development of Interface Specifications/Documents
• Provide subject matter expertise in SAP FICO functions and the solution delivered, to increase return on investment and reduce operating costs
• Ability to explain technical matters in business language and using this to solve business problems.
• Ability to influence business stakeholders to use SAP standard best practice
• Effective and appropriate communication & interpersonal skills including oral, written and presentation skills
• Experience of working as a lead functional consultant, designing and delivering solutions and change, resolving break fixes and large project implementations
• Ability to work on your own initiative to solve complex issues, including ability to identify, prioritise and manage issues proportionately
• Experience of working with governance, for example with ITIL processes or within a project management framework
• An aptitude for self-directed research and learning

Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Relevant SAP Certification
• A degree and/or formal industry recognised qualifications or relevant experience
• Relevant business process experience
