Senior Fullstack Developer

Your new role
As a Senior Fullstack Developer you will work on several digital technologies at the bank, including the online banking user interface and fullstack administration system. You will work across both agile and waterfall projects with a key focus on delivering excellent user experiences whilst helping to maintain security and stability.

Key responsibilities are below:

• Use your in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript React/Next.js, NestJs, Node, GraphQL and to develop frontend & backend systems.
• Create and update Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Be involved in the full DevSecOps life cycle: design, coding, test, build, QA, deployment and monitoring.
• Work effectively with product and engineering management to translate requirements into well-defined stories
• Lead group discussions on system design and understand the domain well enough to work with Product Managers to drive value.
• Support production systems, resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide support to a Junior Developer with the team.
• Identify areas for improvement and support with a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ Years of commercial experience as a Software Developer
• Expert understanding of React, Next.js, Redux/Saga and Jest
• Expert understanding of using Node.js and Next.js to create backend applications
• Experience using Apollo Client & Apollo Server.
• Experience using Azure's MSAL Library.
• Expert understanding of web design & usability to support sites across browser/platform/device
• Experience of bringing responsive and adaptive web designs to life.
• Experience of working with Rest API endpoints
• Experience working on web applications
• Understanding of DevSecOps/DevOps model
