A forward-thinking Fire Consultancy, known for its technical excellence and dynamic team environment, is currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Fire Consultant to join their team in Shrewsbury. This consultancy has a strong track record of delivering comprehensive fire safety solutions across a diverse range of sectors.

The Senior Fire Consultant's Role

The successful Senior Fire Consultant will be responsible for conducting Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments, reviewing Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and fire strategies. With a thorough understanding of British Standards, the Senior Fire Consultant will ensure quality and technical monitoring on various construction projects. They will also be a key point of contact for clients, providing robust fire safety advice, keeping abreast of current legislation, and developing fire safety strategies and management plans.

The Senior Fire Consultant

• Must be registered on the FRAR (Fire Risk Assessor Register).
• Extensive experience conducting site visits for Type 1-4 risk assessments.
• Skilled in Fire Door and Compartmentation surveys.
• Proficient with Bluebeam software.
• Demonstrable experience in fire safety strategy development.
• Proven ability to identify and solve fire safety-related issues.
• Capable of supporting the preparation of documents, policies, and procedures.
• A keen interest in further career progression within the risk assessment industry.

• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience.
