Altum Consulting are working exclusively with a FTSE 250 Technology business to source a Senior Financial Reporting Manager. The team are ultimately responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of company numbers both internally and externally. This role provides an opportunity to work in the heart of a fast-evolving and dynamic business, reporting accurate numbers and driving control change.
The successful candidate will be a key player in the Financial Reporting and Control team as well as the wider finance function of a thriving FTSE-250 Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partnering with the cost budget holders of the business (IT, HR, Marketing, Events etc)
- Work with the team on areas such as consolidation, intercompany, sustainability and other project-based work
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations for several areas
- Keeping up to date with audit, regulation, and industry developments
- Prepare journals and management month-end schedules and produce the balance sheet reconciliations (bank reconciliations and subledger reconciliations).
- Balance sheet review and costs analysis of costs centers.
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Support the preparation and review of quarterly interim and Annual reporting under IFRS
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax and VAT returns for the UK holding companies.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Required Experience:
- Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with significant post qualified experience.
- Confident, collaborative, proactive and professional approach
- Ability to present to and influence others, including senior stakeholders.
- A drive to succeed and progress and a want to take ownership.
