Senior Financial Controller

Looking to embarking on their next phase of growth, the business are seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Controller for a key role in finance.

Offering a positive career path, this multi-million £ turnover, multi-site business has shown consistent growth throughout 2023. Following changes in their structure, they now require a Senior Financial Controller to become a key decision maker as support to the FD/ CFO. The role will help to contribute to strategic initiatives, challenge and improve decision making and help develop management information & core reporting across the department.

Managing a large team of 20, the role will take ownership for the management accounting, core accounting and reporting teams, as well as financial control and transactional finance. You will be a positive. well rounded leader, able to support and improve members of your team and help them to excel. You will support & influence stakeholders across Finance & operations and help to contribute to the wider business strategy.

The client requires a strong post qualified accountant, ideally ACA/ ICAEW, ACCA (although other qualifications will be considered) with a number of years post qualified experience in a similar capacity. You will have previously supported a team and be able to demonstrate a sound ability to shape, develop and grow a department. Previous experience of working as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance or senior manager within a multi-site/ multi brand business would hold a distinct advantage.
