My client requires a meticulous financial analyst adept at forecasting and with superior excel skills.

Role and Responsibilities: You'll be at the forefront of this company's growth journey. Here's what you'll be diving into:

  • Financial Forecasting: Delve deep into company profits, projecting their financial path for the next 5 years while keeping close tabs on year-to-date figures.
  • Development Appraisals: Collaborating closely with the property development team to craft, update, and review development appraisals, ensuring projects stay on the right path to success.
  • Funding Reports: Prepare comprehensive funding reports for equity and debt lenders as needed, ensuring transparency and precision in all financial communications.
  • Legal Liaison: Work hand-in-hand with legal teams to finalise property finance documents and manage the necessary paperwork, ensuring smooth transactions and compliance.
  • Documentation Management: Review and distribute legal documents related to JV and development management agreements, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Budget Oversight: Keep a vigilant eye on actual spending versus budgeted amounts for development deals, ensuring financial health and efficiency across the board.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide invaluable support to the wider team, tackling day-to-day tasks with efficiency and precision.

Key Skills and Attributes:

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ideally an Accounting qualification or equivalent experience…. such as corporate finance / banking experience. Must have demonstrable modelling experience and ability to showcase a solid grasp of company finances.

Skillset Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications, particularly Excel (VB / Macro level) and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with bank funding processes, especially in the realm of investment and development property.
  • Exceptional time management skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, coupled with an unwavering drive and work ethic.
  • A collaborative mindset, dedicated to fostering a supportive and cohesive work environment.
