We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a highly reputable business in Felixstowe.

This role is part of the senior leadership team so offers fantastic exposures across the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
  • Coaching and mentoring a small team
  • Reviewing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance to IFRS
  • Handling the financial consolidation process including relevant reporting requirements
  • Responsible for VAT, ensuring compliance to various legislations
  • To be responsible for corporation tax aspects

Key skills:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant Financial Accounting experience
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Lead through change effectively with clear goals and outcomes
  • Managing a team in a mentoring capacity
