Senior Financial Accountant

CMA Group is actively seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join an expanding PE-backed enterprise located in Andover.  This role holds significant importance in furnishing vital financial insights crucial for operational and strategic choices within the Group.

Working closely with the CFO, FD, and the broader Finance team, the Senior Financial Accountant will collaborate to aid internal and external stakeholders.  Through leveraging expertise in financial accounting, they will contribute significantly to enhancing internal financial operations and facilitating the growth of a promising yet nascent company into a formidable entity.

What will the Senior Financial Accountant role involve?

• Preparing and performing IFRS conversion of underlying financials.
• Preparing and checking information for submission to Financial Conduct Authority.
• Preparing and checking information for submission to PE owners and similar stakeholders.
• Provision of technical support to group Financial Controller in relation to tax, accounting, and reporting.
• Support the Finance Director and finance team in preparing for and managing the year end audit and reporting process.   
• Identifying opportunities for system and process improvements both within finance and the wider business.
• Support CFO and FD with ad hoc work.

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Proven successful track record in similar and used to working within a fast-paced consumer environment.
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or similar.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Experience of operating in a regulated industry preferable.
