Senior Financial Accountant hybrid

Client Details

Our client is a manufacturing business, which operates in the UK and overseas. You will be based from its c. £12 million turnover site near Stapleford in Nottingham. It is an exciting time to join the business as they have gone through a lot of change, including the implementation of a new ERP system.

Description

You will be working as part of a small team of 4 and will be reporting into the Financial Controller. Your duties will be very varied and will include:

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying and entering transactions
• Review and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Review and analyse financial data and create reports on financial status based on the analysis results
• Support the creation of timely and accurate accounting reports that will be presented to company's executives and senior management
• Monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement
• Develop recommendations to optimise company's accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies
• Assist with the external annual audit
• Take part in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Work together with financial and accounting managers to optimise financial operations

Profile

To apply for this position you will:

• be studying CIMA or ACCA, or be qualified by experience
• have a track record of working in finance
• have a experience of working in management and financial accounts
• have the ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

• standard hours are 8:30-5 Monday-Thursdays, and 8:30-2 Fridays, but these could be varied
