Senior Finance Officer

Overview

We are currently recruiting a Senior Payroll Clerk for a well-established and growing business based in Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity as the company are happy to hire an experienced Payroll Clerk looking to take a step up into management in the future and gain exposure in other areas of finance.

The Senior Payroll Clerk will be on-boarding new staff and calculating statutory pays such as holiday, sick and maternity and will be supporting the company bring the payroll in house. The company are looking for a positive individual that is happy to get stuck in with other various internal improvement projects and will support the close-knit wider team when needed.

Skills required:

• Ability to work collaboratively, prioritise workloads and be highly motivated and able to use your own initiative
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• The selected candidate must be able to work from the office 5 days a week, they have community feel and believe it stems from working together
• Be looking to take a step into management, the company are hoping to provide the opportunity for a confident Payroll Clerk to take the next step in their career
