Senior Finance Business Partner

Gleeson Finance are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to provide end to end ownership of company-wide transformation projects. The aim of this role is to ensure that identified opportunities are deliverable, sustainable and desirable. You will be producing forecast performance reporting, which is insightful, actionable and drives the business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance efficiency through best practice.
• Act as a primary finance partner, providing financial insights, guidance, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to develop project budgets, financial forecasts, and business cases.
• Perform financial analysis and modelling to evaluate project feasibility and profitability.
• Monitor project costs, variances, and risks, and provide proactive recommendations to optimise financial performance.
• Prepare regular financial reports, including variance analysis, budget vs. actuals, and project performance dashboards for management review.
• Conduct post-project financial reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for future projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, analysing costs and financial modelling, ideally for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in using financial management systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to challenge processes and practices and deliver change.

In Return:

• £80,000 - £90,000 salary
