Senior Finance Business Partner (ecommerce) | PE backed omnichannel retailer | Permanent role | £70,000-£80,000 | Central London (hybrid working)

A Senior Finance Business Partner (e-commerce) is required to work for a private equity-backed omnichannel retailer, based in their London Headquarters (2-3 days per week in the office). This is an opportunity to work for a brand that has achieved record-breaking sales in the past 2 years and is looking to expand further internationally, with 50 planned site openings over the next 12 months.

The Senior Finance Business Partner (e-commerce) will report to the Senior Manager and will take ownership of the e-commerce channel (25% of the brands revenue). You will be managing one direct report and will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, including the VP of e-commerce.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the e-commerce team, supporting with the production of the e-commerce annual budget and managing quarterly forecasts
  • Overseeing the e-commerce P&L and monthly reporting
  • Management and development of the Finance Analyst who will take ownership of the e-commerce monthly reporting and P&L management
  • Provide the e-commerce team with regular management reports to support with commercial decision-making
  • Monitoring spend vs budget and challenging stakeholders accordingly
  • Supporting on any e-commerce projects from a finance perspective, including driving international expansion

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience working in a commercial finance role, where you have been the business partner to the e-commerce/digital channel. Proven experience challenging stakeholders and managing budgets across a division is key. Ideally, you will have worked for a growing business of £50 million turnover+ where you have been instrumental in driving revenues and implementing new financial controls. Management experience is preferable, they will also look at candidates looking to step up into a management role. You will be ambitious in nature with the ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders & influence senior management.
