Join a dynamic finance team as a Senior Finance Assistant! Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all financial transactions. Your role will be pivotal in providing accurate financial reporting data, contributing to informed decision-making processes.

Responsibilities include:

Verifying monthly payment schedules and controlling accounts
Preparing monthly applications and reconciling spreadsheets for Project Managers
Ensuring timely production of management accounts by meeting month-end deadlines
Delegating finance-related tasks to the administration team and providing necessary training and support
Creating departmental monthly budget reports for Department Heads and delivering financial information to Senior Management
Offering general administration support as needed
Reporting and consolidating data for monthly reports
Managing purchase invoices and accruals for accuracy

Key skills required:

Proficiency in producing accurate financial data, preferably with experience in preparing monthly management accounts
Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office suite, with expertise in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong communication skills to facilitate effective working relationships
Familiarity with sales and purchase processes
Previous exposure to Oracle or Sage software is advantageous
