Harmonic are pleased to be working alongside one of the UK's most exciting and reputable record labels in the search for their next Senior Finance Assistant. This is a newly created role in line with the businesses current growth, underlining their exciting new phase of development.

The Company:

Having become established 25 years ago, our client have grown from strength to strength, home now to some of the most exciting artists and bands in their respective genres, ranging pop to rock, hip hop, R&B and more. Offering services from sales / distribution, marketing and D2C campaigns, our client have a real artist first ethos throughout the organisation.

With headcount at circa 50 and turnover growing year on year, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business going through an exciting period of growth, backed by a senior leadership team with fantastic and highly successful careers within the sector. Operating in a collaborative office environment in South London with a flexible hybrid working pattern in place, this is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands on experience in the music industry.

The Role:

As mentioned, this is a newly created role, reporting into a brilliant head of finance that is keen to offer a progression path to management accountant level to the successful candidate. With a hybrid mix of responsibilities on offer, this role will also offer study support and a fantastic opportunity to build a strong career in finance. Due to the fast paced nature of the business, this role will suit candidates that have good time management skills and are comfortable adapting to change.

Duties:

• Cash reporting for the label
• Dealing with artist queries
• Assisting with Month end
• Balance sheet recs, journals, prepayments
• Assist with year end accounts
• Fixed asset register
• Analysis of monthly reporting
• Ad hoc support to wider finance team

What we need to see (essential):

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Good time management and a proactive, inquisitive nature

What we need to see (bonus):

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA / AAT studier
• Music industry experience

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + study support
