Senior Finance Accountant

I am currently looking to speak with qualified accountants about a new position I have just picked up within the logistics and transport sector. This role will suit someone who has left practice and has gained experience in a role in industry.

My client is a key player in the Transport & Logistics sectors with a strong market share. Their team is focused on a collaborative approach, with plenty of opportunities for growth and development. They are looking to bring a qualified accountant into the team to lead on the day to day operations for the group team.

Description

• Responsible for day to day cash position of the business, identifying and controlling any breaches
• Lead on IFRS16 reporting
• Lead on the completion of technical papers and reviews in line with regulations
• Take responsibility for taxation and compliance matters in line with regulations
• Take ownership of financial controls, ensuring continuous review and improvement where needed
• Assist in the continuous development of the team, encouraging growth and cooperation
• Ad-Hoc requirements of the business as needed

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or overseas equivalent)
• Practice trained
• Immediately Available

Job Offer

• Contract Rate: £400 - £475 per day (dependent on applicant)
• Interim Contract 3-6 months, with possibility to go perm
• Immediate start
