Senior Fabricator

Senior Fabricator required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will be based nearby and have previous fabrication experience. This role requires the successful candidate to train other staff to the required standard.

Senior Fabricator Position Overview

• Ensure operators are trained and risk assessed before embarking on task
• Ensure operators are competent in all tasks
• Ensure 1st off is correct and sign off works order
• Ensure all instructions and tools are available for operators to make good parts
• Ensure operator knows time to complete task
• Ensure operator clocks onto the task correctly
• Return to operator after planned time period to sign off last off
• Report any issues and reasons why operators could not complete works order to correct time and required quality
• Operate production equipment

Senior Fabricator Position Requirements

• Ability to work across all areas of the production process
• Able to train operators
• Able to work on own initiative when necessary
• Able to work in a safe manner
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work standards
• Automotive / Aerospace experience

Senior Fabricator Position Remuneration

• Salary- £26,634 (£13.66 ph). with a review after probation
• Working hours - Monday - Friday 8-4
• 25 days holiday + bank hols
• Auto enrolment pension
• Death in Service - up to 3 x annual salary
