Senior Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading specialist manufacturing company who are looking for a Senior Design Engineer.

The company design and manufacture large scale engineering products and are at the forefront of their industry with a focus on renewable technology.

Working in a dynamic R&D team this role will play a pivotal role in the front-end design for manufacture process and will support the strategy and overall business objectives to deliver carbon neutral products.

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for:

• Developing design solutions from concept to manufacture
• Producing 3D CAD models
• Reviewing design drawings to ensure quality and integration
• Becoming the technical expert in the business to lead on product design and development
• Communicating with cross-functional teams to deliver engineered solutions

The Senior Design Engineer will need:

• Previous mechanical design experience using 3D CAD
• A relevant engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment
• The ability to develop designs, products and processes
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team
