As our next Senior Engineer Control Systems and Software, you’ll be driving the development and implementation of control systems and software. You will be instrumental in the success of our projects and play a key role in ensuring the integration of different components.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be an individual who possesses strong time management skills, accuracy, diligence, and the ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks. Building collaborative relationships and understanding customer requirements will be key, as well as clear and flexible communication. You can generate solutions and make decisions, while continuously challenging and improving our processes.

Your role will involve taking responsibility for the control systems and software aspects of our projects, and your day-to-day activities will include attending meetings with specific technologies and suppliers, reviewing data, and ensuring effective communication with our CAE team. You'll also manage specifications from different teams and ensure they are relayed to the appropriate suppliers.

This position will require that you manage delivery of chassis control software on to one of our ECUs within the vehicle. In this role, you will have the chance to showcase your skills and make a significant impact on our projects. What’s important to you is being able to deal with complex tasks and contribute to the successful delivery of our brand's DNA. The Key Requirements...

  • Engineering Degree in appropriate discipline
  • Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics (VeD) and Active Chassis components.
  • Experience as a controls or SW engineer within the Automotive/Motorsport industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of embedded control systems.
  • Experienced user of Software development tools e.g. CANape and/or INCA.
  • Experienced user of diagnostic software e.g. EVODiag
