Avanti Recruitment has partnered with a growing engineering company in Sheffield that specializes in providing real-time monitoring solutions to companies in a variety of industries.

We’re looking for a senior electronics engineer to join their R+D team where you’ll take the reins of their new project development pipeline. You’ll be involved throughout the entire development life-cycle of designing their brand new sensors while supporting their current products and adding new functionality and features.

The company has recently acquired IPO status, so this is an opportunity to come and make your mark on the future of the development team and wider business by having ownership of their future system architecture, growing the team, and having a say in the future direction of the business.

What we’re looking for:
C. 5 Years’ experience as an electronics engineer, working on a mixture of analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics (Altium preferred)
Familiarity with the full hardware design life-cycle, and ability to take a project from concept stages all the way to release
Some experience with leading projects/mentoring junior engineers would be very advantageous

Experience that's great to have:
Familiarity with embedded firmware development ("C")
Experience with data analysis

On offer is a salary up to £65,000, 5% pension contribution, 25 days holiday, flexibility on remote working where possible, as well as scope to build out the electronics team and take ownership of it.
