Have you got experience in electronic product development, or worked in a senior position as an electronic engineer,ready to advance your career in a highly autonomous role, where you will be at the centre of designing and delivering revolutionary solutions, leading a team of highly skilled engineers, who are creating seminary products for primarily the Oil and Gas industry?

Have you got a strong understanding of OFDM communication theory, with experience of analogue and digital hardware and integration, ready to utilise your skills and knowledge to lead cutting-edge design, within in a wide range of electronic hardware, with the support of highly reputable company, which works with global, industry leading clients, developing world first technology for the oil and gas industry?

On offer is the opportunity to work alongside a specialist company which designs and manufactures downhole logging and well-intervention instrumentation for the oil and gas, geothermal and transition energy sectors for a global client base. They provide one-of-a-kind solutions, primarily producing complex novel sensor technologies, high-pressure and temperature applications and high-powered electro-mechanical devices.

The Role:

• Ensure delivery of products which satisfy the technical and commercial requirements of clients by providing specification documents and creation of design requirements
• Lead the development of embedded firmware in FPGAs, small microprocessors
• Lead the design of a wide range of electronics hardware in analogue and digital domains, including DC-DC convertors, motor controllers and data acquisition components
• Take responsibility for the creation of design requirements, specification documents and identify technical risks in new product development
• Support engineers by offering technical coaching and guidance

The Person:

• Experienced Electronics Engineer, with NPI / NPD exposure
• BA or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Experience in a technical or project lead role
• Efficient in programming languages such as C and VHDL
