Starting Point Recruitment are proud to be working with an established client to recruit for a Senior Educational Psychologist based in the Surrey area.

Salary: £61,848 - £67,706 per annum
Located: Lingfield, Surrey
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37.5 - 40 hours per week / Term time only or all year round (By negotiation)

Job Purpose
As a Senior Educational Psychologist, you will be leading a team of educational psychologists as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working with children and young adults with learning difficulties in an educational and residential environment.

Essential Requirements
  • BPS Recognised professional training in Educational or Clinical Psychology
  • HCPC Registered
  • Experience of working within a school, college, and residential settings
  • Experience of delivering training
Professional Responsibilities
  • Utilise systemic ideas, consultation models, and psychological concepts related to attachment, learning, and behaviour.
  • Apply a person-centred model to provide support to children and young adults with autism, epilepsy, and other conditions.
  • Provide therapeutic input as needed to support the well-being and development of the individuals in care.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the educational and therapeutic support provided to the individuals in the program.
  • Stay updated on best practices and research in educational psychology to continuously improve services.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for the individuals.
