Job Title: Senior Ecologist

Salary: £29,000 - £38,000

Location: Cardiff

Penguin Recruitment are working with a fully-independent Environmental Consultancy who have the opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to join them in Cardiff.

As a Senior Ecologist you will be responsible for managing technical projects across a range of sectors, and provide key support to the running of the team, including mentoring junior members of staff, completing tenders and leading field teams.

In turn, you will be able to work from home or in the office as needed (with excellent flexibility on your location), 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, enhanced stakeholder pension, health insurance, paid professional memberships, clothing allowance, bonus scheme and progression opportunities.

To be considered for the Senior Ecologist position you will need proven experience in ecological consultancy, membership of CIEEM, hold one or more protected species licences, in-depth knowledge of survey techniques across different species, project management skills, and hold a full driving licence.
