Reed Public Sector hub is urgently recruiting for a interim Senior Developer for a Local Authority in Berkshire  to carry out the following:

  •  To work with colleagues to deliver digital solutions using the Council’s chosen technology and platforms. Including Python and MS Power App/ Power Automate.
  • To translate the outcomes of qualitative and quantitative research into digital services that enable effective and measurable interaction between the Council and its online user community.
  • Responsible for translating logical designs into physical designs taking account of target environment, performance requirements and existing systems.
  • Responsible for the ongoing support and continuous iteration and improvement of software, including but not limited to: cloud infrastructure; data centres; applications and components
  • Responsible for prototyping code in the early stages of development, pairing with designers and researchers.
  • Continuously release code throughout the product life cycle.
  • Responsible for producing detailed designs including for example: physical data flows, class diagrams, file layouts, common routines and utilities, program specifications or prototypes, and backup, recovery and restart procedures.
  • Document all work using required standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate.
