This Senior Design Engineer role will be split 80% design and 20% customer-facing and project engineering. The role is for the mechanical design of special-purpose machines and automation using Solidworks. You will attend design reviews when necessary, internal and external with the customer, and update the design following reviews.

To apply for this Senior Design Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Electric actuators in pick-and-place mechanisms/transfer/handling or similar applications
  • Pneumatic actuators and valves in transfer mechanisms/handling/pressing applications
  • Vacuum or mechanical grippers in transfer/hand or similar
  • Sensors and 6-axis robots
