Senior Data Engineer / Manager – Hybrid – up to £80k

Are you a Senior Data Engineer who wants to join a Software and Analytics company and work with a very dynamic team?

Pearson Carter is working with a large organisation, who are expanding their team, as part of their growth.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to mainly manage a small team of 5 engineers. Within this role, you will be spending 70% of the time line managing, leading and supporting the team, conduct 1-2-1 reviews, help the team grow and 30% of the time will be spent on developing and maintaining ETL pipelines in AWS.

This role is for someone who wants to focus on the management side of things and has already experience in line managing and leading the team.

Experience required:

• Great experience in a Data Engineer role
• ETL data pipelines development within AWS 
• Management experience
• Strong stakeholder management

Salary:

This is a permanent position and offers £70,000 - £80,000, depending on experience + benefits + hybrid working.

Location:

The client has got an office in South London with a flexible work environment where working from home 3-4 times per week is possible. For the right candidate, there might be some flexibility for less travel to the office.
