A great opportunity to join a leading online distributor as a Senior Analyst in their Data Insight team

THE COMPANY

The business is a leading distributor in the online retail space servicing books, media and technology customers across the globe. Focusing on sales through the likes of Amazon, eBay and more the business ship over 15,000+ items per day and employ over 200 staff across the globe - making them one of the world's largest third party sellers on both Amazon and eBay.

In terms of the company usage of data, they have established a Data Insights team which leverages the vast amount of data the business holds about it's products, customers and competitors and uses it to perform continual analysis, data mining, trend spotting and more to improve product offerings, revenue and customer experience. Joining as a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be leveraging data analytics and pricing to support the team in this space.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILTIES

• Create bespoke pricing algorithms to balance supply/demand of products with target margins
• Set-up tracking and performance measures (eg. data-driven dashboards) to judge success of new initiatives
• Create and report on A/B testing and other types of tests to optimise customer experience and conversion
• Analyse and provide insights into customer shopping behaviour
• Offer strategies to optimise segmentation and personalisation of customer journeys

YOUR KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong technical experience in SQL and Data Visualisation
• Proven track-record and expertise in pricing analytics
• Strong stakeholder management experience
