Senior Data Analyst - Dublin

My Dublin based client is looking for an accomplished Data Analyst to be responsible for providing data-driven strategic insights, customized innovative analytic approaches and insightful management opportunities for strategic clients. 12mths initially, 2 days a week onsite in office. Flexibility for PAYE, Umbrella or Irish Limited company.

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in quantitative analytics and conducting advanced analytic modelling for large databases with real-world application
  • Experience querying and analyzing data using at least one data query and analysis tool (SQL, SAS)
  • Design and develop new scalable/repeatable solutions and re-write legacy SAS programs
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, etc
  • Be able to navigate through existing Databricks/Azure challenges
  • Experience developing cloud-based analytics products
  • Experience using a data visualization tool (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Ability to problem-solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data
  • Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting
  • Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
  • Ability to communicate an analysis, including trends and opportunities, to clients and the business in writing and verbally
  • Proficiency with relational databases, database structures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sectors helpful: Retail, FMCG, Pharma or Managed Care
