Senior Corporate Accountant

We are working with a exciting Lloyd's insurer who as part of their continued growth have created a new role within the Group function for a senior Corporate Accountant. This is a key role within their growing finance function.

This high profile and varied role will take ownership for :

  • Production of the UK Group consolidation on a quarterly basis
  • Production of Statutory Accounts for the Group companies
  • Working with the FP&A team review and enhance UK Group forecasting model to analyse returns, forward looking plans and capital requirements
  • Support the delivery the UK group Statutory reporting process including liaising and building strong relationships with key external advisers particularly the external auditors.
  • Support the development of the group financial control framework including strong financial control standards and financial control KPI reporting
  • Work and support the existing team with projects,
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff, including providing career development planning and opportunities for the Junior Group Reporting Accountant


You will be a qualified accountant with strong experience within the London Insurance/Reinsurance markets ideally Lloyd's. This is a six months initial fixed term contract
