Senior Consultant (Implement Insurance platform - Guidewire, ICE, EIS, Genesys) - London

Role

My client is looking for an Insurance product consultant are Insurance platform experts who can take the puzzle-pieces that are a client's business requirements, and design masterpiece solutions. Creativity in problem solving as well as being an excellent listener are probably the most emphasised facets of this role.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying how a client's ecosystem fits together and provides strategic thought leadership.
• Excellent Domain knowledge on P&C (Property and Casualty) lines of Insurance with expertise in the related business processes.

• Skilled in requirement elicitation, gathering and translating these into technical solutions.

• Analysing business processes and identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility, and recommending new approaches typically seeking to exploit new technology components.

• Modelling processes, architecture, data structures and information required to support with their Insurance clients.

• Developing enterprise-grade architecture and processes which truly utilise and realise the value of insurance platform technology.

• Ensuring both business strategy and technological direction is aligned.

• Taking a collaborative role in developing and enforcing the set of architecture and development libraries and whitepapers

• Assigning work through the correct communication channels to technical consultants and monitor performance providing advice, guidance, and assistance

Your skills & experience

• Extensive experience (15 years +) working as an insurance platform SME with large size customers including solving Enterprise-wide challenges.
• Proven experience implementing insurance platforms e.g. Guidewire, ICE, EIS, Genesys etc.
• Comfortable advising, mentoring, educating, and influencing diverse teams on topics including Data Management, Data Models, Integration, Security, Application, Product Models, Design as they relate to the Insurance Platform
• Demonstrable senior stakeholder management skills and experience
• Proven aptitude to rapidly learn new technologies and evolving InsurTech space.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Solid presentation and facilitation skills
• Experience in Insurance Platform Configuration development, integration with Enterprise, legacy and vendor applications using various integration mechanisms and proven patterns,
• Proven leadership and consulting skills to build trust relationship with customers.
• Ability to lead a range of workshops e.g. Discovery, Solution Design and Delivery
• Certified Insurance Platform Expert
• Hands-on delivery skills
• Eagerness to co-define and deliver advisory sessions for strategic initiatives.
• Help towards the development of the practice and build reusable frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team and a willingness to take ownership of problems
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management field
