Senior Compliance Officer

Our client is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer (Investment Mgt / Financial Services background) in either Sittingbourne or London Mayfair, and the remote role comes with an attractive salary package £90k-£100k + package including Bonus, Share options, Pension etc…

As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will work closely with other departments to support our business objectives, manage risk, and promote a culture of compliance across the organisation.

If you were already in this Senior Compliance Officer role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

• Developing, implementing and maintaining our compliance framework, policies and procedures, including CASS compliance
• Monitoring and reporting on our compliance status, identifying and addressing any areas of non-compliance or potential risk
• Providing guidance and support to other departments to ensure they understand and adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Keeping up-to-date with changes to relevant regulations and industry developments
• Developing and delivering compliance training and awareness programmes for staff

To apply for this role, you will preferably have held SMF 16 and 17 responsibilities. You'll also have:

• Background in Wealth Management / Financial Planning will be essential for this role
• Significant senior experience in compliance, ideally within a CASS compliance role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Strong working knowledge of FCA rules essential.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations
• Previous experience in senior compliance, risk management, legal, or regulatory matters.
