I am delighted to be recruiting for an leading international law firm for a pivotal role: A Senior Compliance Cashier.

The team of five cashiers all directly report into the Chief Cashier and play a crucial part in steering the firm's financial compliance. Core duties include spearheading client residual balance conformity, trailblazing firm-wide training initiatives for policy adherence and being the go-to for client account support.

This role is about maintaining automated workflow, managing client balance reports to iron out issues, and ensuring everything aligns with SRA Accounts Rules. As well, maintaining the crucial Breach Log and leading during breach reviews, providing critical inputs that shape the firm's compliance. Also, training and educating the team on internal protocols and SRA compliance, ensuring everyone's on the same page.

The role also includes: diving into aged client balances, liaising with fee earners, and submitting paperwork to the SRA as needed. Keeping client funds in check, monitoring cheques and mitigating any potential breaches.
