With the compliance market starting to pick up, it’s great to see one of our clients investing in their compliance function.

We are currently working with a growing Lloyds Specialty Insurer who are after a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their regulatory team.

• Provide up-to-date guidance to underwriters and claims staff to ensure adherence to applicable financial and trade sanctions measures imposed by UN resolutions and EU, UK and US sanctions legislation

• Decide on a resolution of sanctions related enquiries as presented by underwriters and claims staff

• Responsible for collating and preparing the monthly Compliance Reports for divisional meetings

• Attend monthly meetings across the business to provide regulatory and exception reporting updates

• Assist the Compliance Manger in developing and maintaining a strong compliance culture throughout the Group

• Assist the Compliance Manger to maintain adequate systems, controls and policies and policies to meet the regulators requirements

• Assist in the development and implementation of Compliance based Exception reports

• Review and resolve exception reports and liaise with the Compliance Manager and stakeholders on any issues identified

• Where appropriate and in conjunction with the Compliance Manager develop and articulate any remedial action / recommendations on any issues identified to stakeholders

• Identify and circulate relevant publications and communications to all appropriate staff, including but not limited to Lloyd’s bulletins and LMA notices as required

• Where required assist in the implementation of business process changes across the Group

• Assist with the regular monitoring / review of the output of the sanctions screening software to facilitate compliance with application sanctions measures

• Assist the Compliance Manager in the preparation, development and execution of the Group’s annual Compliance Business Plan


• Assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining effective relationships with the PRA, FCA, Lloyd’s and other relevant regulators and third parties

• Provide regulatory training to the Group employees, e.g. anti-money laundering, Sanctions.

Details:
- 12 months FTC
- Hybrid working, 50% in the London office
- Salary, up to £85,000
