A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Commercial Solicitor to become an integral part of the esteemed Corporate & Commercial team. This pivotal role offers the chance to significantly contribute to the team's evolution and expansion.

Joining a dynamic team of Solicitors, the successful candidate will engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from household brands to owner-managed businesses.

The role encompasses a broad spectrum of commercial law matters, including drafting terms and conditions and managing complex outsourcing arrangements within regulated sectors. The role also involves cross-border project work, demanding effective project management and cost control, often in collaboration with top-tier law firms and respected in-house legal teams. Areas of specialisation include the software, manufacturing, technology, and financial services sectors.

The Firm is committed to leveraging technology, including artificial intelligence, to deliver timely and cost-efficient solutions to clients.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned expert in commercial law with a flair for supervising and nurturing junior team members. A demonstrable history of successful business development and client retention is essential, along with a keen interest in enhancing the firm's commercial law services. For those with the right aptitude and client base, swift progression to Partner level is a distinct possibility.

Applicants should possess robust academic credentials and substantial experience in Commercial law, ideally gained at a Legal 500 / Chambers ranked firm or an equivalent in-house legal team. While a background of 10+ years post-qualification experience is anticipated, all candidates who can evidence the requisite skills for the role are encouraged to apply.
