This is a fantastic opportunity for a NAM / SNAM / Commercial Manager to manage and develop key strategic relationships within a highly competitive FMCG market.

Client Details

My client is an established business within spirits. With both branded and own label products they operate across all the top 4 and leading discounters.

Description

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, with P&L responsibility for your accounts
  • Lead on negotiations, JBPs and contracts
  • Plan, execute and activate promotional material with marketing teams
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Manage cross-functional projects to ensure deadlines are met
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Report on sales results and market trends to senior management

Profile

The successful candidate should have:

  • Experience working at National Account Manager level or above within FMCG (spirits a bonus)
  • Managed at least one of the top 4 grocers with full P&L responsibility
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience agreeing contracts and JBPs
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Exposure to fast-paced, leaner sales teams
  • Experience forecasting, agreeing promotional activity and working cross-functionally
  • A full, clean UK driving license

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary between £65,000 and £80,000
  • Performance related bonus
  • Car allowance £5k-£7k depending on experience
  • Home based contract, open to candidates nationwide
